After I retired from teaching, and my husband retired from the phone company, we have become snowbirds, spending six months in Delray Beach, Florida and six months in Hudson, Ohio. Our daily job is exercising, but we also enjoy playing golf and traveling. I spend my free time doing volunteer work for our town library, the Humane Society, the American Red Cross blood bank, and two food pantries. I also enjoy flower gardening.

![]() ![]() Aloha Classmates! After living in Texas for 30 years, Sam and I retired to Hawaii, our favorite place on earth. We live in a condo about a mile from the lagoons of Ko olina, a resort community on the south west coast of the island of Oahu. Come visit! We have learned to surf and stand up paddle board. We try to keep in shape with Yoga sessions and biking and hiking.

Since graduating from UD, I graduated from Ursinus College and Earlham School of Religion. I have had more careers than most people as I have always sought new challenges. Currently I work part-time for the Dacotah Foundation as a Mental Health Technician and Medicine Assistant. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life for children and adults with mental illness and/or chemical dependency.

My wife, Mary, and I have lived in Bismarck, ND for the last 21 years. Despite the harsh winters we love the open spaces, lack of trafiic, and the amazing summer days. Our five children have scattered across the country living in Virginia, Florida, Philadelphia, California, and North Dakota.

Have lived life to the fullest and was extremely blessed to be married 47+ years to the love of my life, Bill Phipps (class of 1968). Bill recently passed away on March 6, 2018. I have lots of great memories--we had taken many cruises and extensive road trips over the years. We raised 3 wonderful children who've all been married for many years and had given us 9 grandchildren to love! I'm still working part-time at a job I really enjoy and also like to knit, crochet, and scrapbook.

I have enjoyed life with my husband, Roger of 47+ years and our two children, Jeanne and Rod and their families. We are blessed to have them all live near us in the Wilmington, NC area. Jeanne is an Interior Designer & excels in kitchen & bathroom remodeling, while helping us and others in all areas of design and decorating. Rod is a Civil and Environmental Engineer, and owns a development company, building shopping centers throughout the Carolinas. Being a "Nana" to four very active grandchildren, Powell, Woods, Mayleigh & Betsy keeps us busy daily. In our spare time over the years, we have enjoyed sailing, traveling, remodeling and decorating as we moved throughout the US. Settling along the coast of NC has been great. We continue to enjoy the water, kayaking and boating, traveling whenever possible, and always look forward to reconnecting with old friends. Our travels back to PA have become less frequent due to the passing of parents. We are both looking forward to our upcoming 50th high school reunions, and catching up with old friends. My last reunion was truly "fun" although we missed many who were unable to attend. I look forward to the 50th reunion in September, 2018.
